A checking account which pays interest. There is a minimum balance requirement of $2,500.00 to avoid a service charge.
Rate Information: This account is an interest bearing account. We may change the interest rate & APY on the account weekly. Interest will be compounded monthly. If you close the account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.
Balance Information: We use the average daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a periodic rate to the average daily balance in the account for the period. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period.
Limitations: You must deposit $2,500.00 to open this account.
Account Fees: Should the balance in the account fall below $2,500.00 at any time during the statement cycle, your account will be assessed a monthly service charge of $7.50. Ten checks may be posted to your account each statement cycle without additional charge; however, each check exceeding 10 during the cycle will be assessed a charge of $.20 per check.
